The sun appeared, breaking through the dark gloom of a week heavy with snow
and clouds. And as I sit upon that chair, window shades wide open, I basked in the glory
that was blessing me. I closed my eyes and leaned back and enjoyed this warmth
like a vampire who steps into his final sunrise. Not knowing when next I may be kissed by
the golden glow of a solar flare. Redeemed in a moment by the weakening of a winter’s
storm.
May is here, and I cannot wait to be almost naked, bare legs, bare arms, bare toes, hair up,
bare necked, shades on, allowed to be bare anywhere. Drench me in sweat and kiss me
golden in this heat. The long days are almost here. It’s nearly impossible to wait.
